Karewa: Sediments comes through rivers and kept on depositing, thus resulting in the formation of a lacustrine plain. Slowly the water drained away leaving behind deposit like mud and unconsolidated gravel. These deposits are known as KAREWA. These are found in Kashmir Himalayas.
