$Answer :-$ i) Two brothers Muhammad Ali and Shaukat Ali Muslim leaders founded khalifat common March 1919 to defend the khalifat rights .

ii) The anti rowlatt Satyagraha was limited two cities and towns Gandhiji wanted to launch more board based movement this could only be done by bringing Hindus and Muslim together he took up the khalifat issue.

iii) At the Calcutta season of the Congress in September 1920 he convinced other leaders of the need to start a non cooperation movement in support of khalifat as well as Swaraj .
