hello Mate!

Answer:

◾️ Kinetic energy is the energy that an object has because of its motion. This energy can be converted into other kinds, such as gravitational or electric potential energy, which is the energy that an object has because of its position in a gravitational or electric field.

KINETIC ENERGY:

❄The kinetic energy of an object is the energy that is possessed the virtue of its motion.

❄The formula of kinetic energy is E_{k}=\frac{1}{2}mv^{2} where m is the mass of the object and v is the speed of the object.

❄If the velocity of the object is the same, it will maintain the same amout of kinetic energy whereas, if the velocity of the object changes, the amount of kinetic energy also changes.

❄There are four types of kinetic energy. They are:

  • Thermal
  • Magnetic
  • Electrical
  • Mechanical

❄Few examples of objects possessing kinetic energy are: a car moving downhill, a ball rolling on the floor, the revolution of planets around the sun etc.
