KINETIC ENERGY : The energy that a body possesses when it is in motion.

OSMOSIS : A process by which water passes from the higher concentration to the lower concentration.

DIFFUSION: A process by which anything (usually air) moves from the higher concentration to the lower concentration.

INTERMOLECULAR FORCES OF ATTRACTION : This a force which exists between two molecules of the elements or compound.

  • The form of energy by which particles move around is called kinetic energy.
  • The movement of water molecules from a high concentrated area to low concentrated area is called osmosis.
  • The intermingling of particles from lower concentration to higher concentration is called diffusion.
  • The force by which atoms attract other atoms of same kind is called intermolecular force of attraction.
