Kirchoff in 1842, gave two laws on electric current.
1.Junction law:According to this law the sum of all the currents entering a junction point in a circuit must be equal to the sum of all the currents leaving it.
2.Voltage law:The algebraic sum of potential differences in any closed loop, including those associated with e.m.f's should be zero, i.e Σ ΔV=0.
