The bouncing back of light from the same medium where it incident is known as reflection of light.

Reflection can be of light sound and water waves.

There are three laws of reflections :-

• The incident ray , normal ,and the reflected ray all lie on a same plane.
• The angle of incidence will be equal to the angle of reflections. I.e <i = <r
• The angle of incidence and angle of reflections are opposite to the normal.
