Answer:
"Krishnaval" is known as onion.
Some say that onion was called "Krishnaval" in Sanskrit. however, the word 'krishnaval' is not in usage nowadays. In South India, especially in rural areas of Karnataka and Tamil Nadu, onions are still known as Krishnaval. When the onion is cut vertically, it is cut in the shape of a conch shell. At the same time, when it is cut crosswise, it is cut in the shape of a circle.Chakra is also meant valaya. The word 'krishnaval' is formed by mixing two words of 'Krishna' and 'valaya'
