The Kuiper Belt is a region of leftovers from the solar system's early history. Like asteroid belt, it has also been shaped by a giant planet, although it's more of a thick disk (like a donut) than a thin belt.

The Largest Asteroid which is known as Ceres lies in the main asteroid belt in parallel to Mars. The Ceres is about 960 km in its diameter, and it is also smallest dwarf planet.

And the Kuiper belt lies in the outer solar system. The asteroid belt is between 2.2 to 3.2 away from our Sun .
The Main asteroid belt ( or ) The asteroid belt is divided into two groups - (¡) The trojan Asteroids and (ii) Typical asteroid belt
(i) The trojan Asteroid belt — This is an asteroid belt which has formed in early solar system during the formation of Trojan Planet , meanwhile As jupiter is the first planet in our Solar System, it destroyed the trojan planet into pieces and left its debris which remains in the asteroid belt, known as Trojan Asteroid Belt . This Asteroid Belt lies in the orbit of Jupiter. which forms a small ring around Jupiter . And some lies in the adjacent of Jupiter As – Eastern Trojan asteroid and Western Trojan Asteroid.
(ii) The Typical Asteroid belt — It is also further sub-divided into two groups – ( A ) Apollo Asteroids and ( B ) Amor Asteroids . These asteroids mainly circle around the whole inner orbits of planets . the planets are : Earth, Venus , Mars and Mercury. These Asteroids are also called NEO ( Near Earth's Objects ) Near Earth's objects are those objects which circles around the earth ( like our moon does ).
( A ) Apollo Asteroids — These Asteroids orbiting across earth's orbit, and they spend most of the time outside earth's orbit.
( B ) Amor Asteroids — These asteroids approaches earth but do not cross to earth's orbit ( like apollo ) . This orbits of asteroids are further from Sun than earth's orbit.
The Near Earth Objects (NEO) is basically are four , they are :
- Apollo
- Amor
- Aten
- Atiras
As , only Apollo and Amor Asteroids are mainly taken , Because – they have huge sizes more than 1 km in diameter, and They revolves around to side of the earth.
