Hey,
KVPY exam is for the junior scietist for future.
This covers your NCERT syllabus of 11th and 12th.
You can give it in your 12th class or after 9th class also.
Again if your qualify in this exam then you have a chance to study in IISER also by your all india basis rank

The eligibility criteria is class 11th science stream passed out with 75% minimum percentage
The syllabus includes science subjects of 11th 12th and till 1st year science graduation
