Laboratory thermometer is used to measure the temperature of the objects.It consists of thick walled-fine bore-glass capillary tube.The capillary tube has a small bulb at its one end.This bulb and some portion of the tube are filled with pure mercury.The stem is graduated in degrees usually from -10°C to 110°C.So, the range of laboratory thermometer lies between -10°C to 110°C.
