☆Lactiferous ducts are those that converge and form a branched system connecting the nipple to the lobules of the mammary gland .
☆Humans normally have two mammary glands , one in each breast and each complex mammary glands consist of 10 to 20 simple glands.
☆They are also referred to as galacotophores ducts , mammary ducts , milk ducts .
