Land utilisation means the management and moderation of wild lands and the lands which were not used before,in such a way to make it appropriate for living or for industrial usage. The land utilisation is also increasing along with the increasing population of the world.

The negative aspects of land use patterns in India are as follows; Expanded soil degeneration, especially depletion of resources. Progressed transference of residual materials from farming lands to groundwater and surface water.

The positive aspect of land use pattern is that it would maintain ecological balance, on the other hand, the negative aspect is that it would cause land degradation
