The enthalpy of fusion of a substance, also known as (latent) heat of fusion, is the change in its enthalpy resulting from providing energy, typically heat, to a specific quantity of the substance to change its state from a solid to a liquid, at constant pressure...

I hope it help you..

in the latent heat of fusion ,,⭐

when water is converting into ice
form to liquid form ....⭐

it does not melt completely on definite temperature ⭐

it start early,,⭐

and then the temperature is constant
then just as latent heat is taken in when water changes to Vapour ⭐

at the same temperature,,, ⭐

so the same things occurs when ice melts to form water...⭐

But in this case the latent heat is not so great....

It require only 336000 J ⭐

to convert 1 kg of ice at 0 ° celsius to water at the same temperature ...⭐
