The amount heat required to convert unit mass of liquid into its vapour state without change in its temperature called is latent heat of vaporization.

Latent heat is heat released or observed during a phase change, where the temperature does not change. If we are talking specifically about the heat of vaporization, it is the heat that must be absorbed to change liquid water to water vapor or the heat that must be released to condense water vapor to liquid water.
