Law enforcement is any system by which some members of society act in an organized manner to enforce the law by discovering, deterring, rehabilitating, or punishing people who violate the rules and norms governing that society.

Our govt. has three organs : legislature , executive , judiciary
1. law making is the important function of legislature
2. But only law making is not suffiecient enforcement of law is equally imporatnat .
3. law is emplimented by the executive . They keeo watch whether laws are being obeyed or not if not then punishment is given to tjose who violates law.
5. enforcement of law is important . for example if workers are not paid according to the mininum wages Act ,then there is a provisuon to punish the culprit

hope it helps
