=>the theory of Inheritance of acquired characters or lamarckism was established by Jean baptiste lamarck in 1809 in his book philosophic zoologique.
the theory is popularly known as theory of Inheritance of acquired characters.
main points of this theory are :
❤living organisms and their body parts have a tendency to increase in size continuously due to internal forces of the body.
❤ environmental impact : environment has a great impact on the growth and development of the body of all living organisms.
❤ effect of need organism may develop new organs the development of these organs as the result of some specific and continuous need of the body due to some changes in the environment.
❤ use and disuse : if an organ is used constantly and continuously it will tend to become highly developed, whereas its disease causes its degeneration
❤Inheritance of acquired characters all the changes acquired by the organism due to environmental impact or by the use and disuse of organs are called acquired characters these characters are inheritable and can be transferred from parents to offspring in this day forth coming generations are superior to the present generation.
