Le Chatelier's principle --

It states that changes in the temperature, pressure, volume, or concentration of a system will result in predictable and opposing changes in the system in order to achieve a new equilibrium state.

.WHEN THE CONCENTRATION, PRESSURE OR TEMPERATURE OF A SYSTEM AT EQUILIBRIUM IS CHANGED, THE SYSTEM WILL READJUST ITSELF SO AS TO NULLIFY THE EFFECT OF THAT CHANGE AND ATTAIN A NEW STATE OF EQUILIBRIUM.
