legislative body is a parliament comprising two houses or chambers. Its equivalent, exercing legislative power at a sub-state administrative level.

the government at the state level is called the state government .this government deals with the issues related to an entire state .the government at the state level has three organs legislature executive and judiciary . the legislature makes law and executive implements these law and Judiciary interprets the law . in India it is known as Parliament at the national level and state assembly at the state level . they makes law on behalf of people and determine tax is that people will pay .
