It states that the current induced in a circuit due to a charge or a motion in magnetic field is so directed to oppose the change in flux and to exert a mechanical force opposing the motion.

Lenz's Law :- it is usually applied to know the direction of induced emf or current for CLOSED circuit .

according to this LAW ,
the direction of induced emf or current in such as to oppose the cause that produces it . this law is based on LAW OF CONSERVATION OF ENERGY .
