Life is a relentless exploration in search of happiness. Whatever we think, speak or do actually arise from the embedded desire in the inner core of man to feel, retain and pervade in happiness!

Accomplishments of any sorts do give satisfaction, but many a time people complain a hollowness in their accomplishments. It is because life in one sentence, knowingly or unknowingly, is an exploration in search of happiness and that element is absent in those accomplishments.

Irrespective of the material gains, status, positions or recognition including all the accomplishments man may have got in his life, he can experience true happiness only and only if his actions are ‘useful’ to the people around.

The desire to be useful therefore, is nourished and relentlessly worked upon by man because he craves to be wanted…. wanted by his friends, family, employers, employees and society in general. This is because life in one sentence, knowingly or unknowingly is an exploration in search of happiness and without the element of being ‘useful’ it cannot induce happiness.

If you carefully observe, the seeds of success are born out of man’s desire to be ‘useful’ and he achieves true success only when he learns how to be useful in this world for Self and others! It is because, life in one sentence, knowingly or unknowingly, is an exploration in search of happiness and without success happiness cannot be experienced!

A closer look at what we call ‘work’ will tell us that work is nothing but ‘units of efforts’ man has invented to generate ‘useful outcomes’ in his personal, professional or social life. Without these useful units of efforts, success cannot be achieved. It is because life in one sentence knowingly or unknowingly, is an exploration in search of happiness and without efforts which are not useful, happiness cannot be achieved.

Being useful to Self within is the core that enables an individual to explore and identify ‘the purpose of his life’ and to act upon such ‘identified duties’ or ‘Karma” which are useful to others with a view to ‘make’ life and universe possible’ and such acts are said to induce “Sat-chit-ananda’” (Sat = ‘True” + Chit = “Mindset” + Ananada = happiness) or bliss! It is because, life in one sentence knowingly or unknowingly, is an exploration in search of happiness and without efforts which are not useful happiness cannot be achieved.

It is a universal truth that anything which is useless is discarded by the nature itself and it does so without fail even when a human body becomes useless. It is because what is useful only can induce happiness, be it a mighty mountain that stands in penance, the sun that emits its healing rays, a flower that displays its radiance or fragrance, the river that dances in its angle bells or the man who is constantly making efforts to be useful! Because life in one sentence is the exploration in search of happiness!
