A light harvesting complex has a complex of sub-unit proteins that maybe part of a larger super-complex of a photo system, the functional unit in photosynthesis.
The different types of photo systems are-
Photosystems I (P700) and photosystems II (P680).

NCERT based Answer for Class 11 Biology Students
Light harvesting system in plants:
The accessory pigments and reaction center (chlorophyll a), together form photosystem (PS) or Light harvesting complexes (LHC).
There are two types of photosystem: PS I and PS II.
In PS I, chlorophyll a has absorption peak at 700 nm, hence is called P700.
In PS II, chlorophyll a has absorption maxima at 680 nm and is called P680.
Note: These are named in sequence of their discovery and not in sequence in which they function during light reaction.
