Explanation:

the system of classification was given by Carlous linnaeus. He had started the system of classification i.e., Taxnomy first in 1758. he divided the living organisms into two groups:-

1. Animalia (Motile)

2.Plantae (Non-motile)

He classified the organisms on the basis of their movement and locomotion.

the linen system of classification is based on several more for logical similarities and ancestry mainly the similarities and differences in morphology anatomy cytology physiology development reproductive behaviour and biochemistry are considered for classification.

this system was proposed by John Ray the English naturalist and the principle well laid down By Carlous linnaeus hence called linnaean classification.

the word species genus and family were used by John Ray while the words class and order produced by Karlous linnaeus and the term Phylum was given by George cuvier but all comes under the linneaen specification and were believed to be given by carlous linnaeus.
