Trundle: the Institute promised to help him find a way to cure his disease. Maybe he is still waiting for them to make some progress?
Xerath: Doesn't want to be contained or controlled anymore
Brand: Same as Xerath
Renekton: Wants to kill his brother outside of the League but the Institute wont let him.
Veigar: He is just pure evil and would probably be the one who formed the group in the first place.
I don't think the Void or Noxus would join this rebellion both parties are more out for themselves and wouldn't work with others.
Who else would become part of this rebellion? Riot could make this some kind of event or add it to Season 3 as the introduction event.
would be an interesting lore story or some kind of event where a group of champions from the League of Legends decide to rebel against the Institute of War. Maybe some kind of alliance of champions that each have some kind of score to settle with the Institute or they are angry at the Institute for breaking their promises or they don't like them.
