Long-sightedness

Explanation:

Long-sightedness is a condition that occurs when the eyeball is slightly bigger than normal. This causes the focus point to be behind the retina, at the back of the eye. A person suffering from this condition will find it difficult to see clearly the objects that are closer to him. Example: Words on the newspaper will look blurred. It is known as hyperopia in the medical terms. Long-sightedness can be treated by wearing spectacles or contact lens. There is also an option to correct it permanently through laser surgery of the affected eye.
