Low Rolling Resistance: Low rolling resistance means that less amount of energy is lost during the rolling action of a body. It is important in order to increase the efficiency of the moving body.

For example in low resistance rolling tires, less energy is lost during the action and therefore less petroleum is consumed. Almost 5%-15% of the total gasoline is utilised in the tire resistance.
