HOLA friend!!
Rajdeep here.....................

Lucknow Pact is a Pact or Treaty, which was signed in the Lucknow Session of the Congress and Muslim League in 1916.
Earlier, after the formation of the Muslim League, the hostility between the Hindus and Muslims were rising. The Lucknow Pact led to the unity of the Hindus and Muslims again.

The Pact was signed, telling -->
(i) There were to be separate electorates.
(ii) Hindus and Muslims would get equal seats in the Provincial and Imperial Legislative Council.
(iii) A Bill could not be passed in the Legislature if one third of the members of a specific community opposed it.
(iv) Abolition of the Secretary of State of India operating from England.

The significance of the Pact:
1. The Pact led to Hindu Muslim unity.
2. Congress-Muslim League unity.
3. Unity of the two wings of the Congress (Assertives and Moderates).
4. The Pact led to gradual development of self governing institutions.

Thanks...
Hope my answer is satisfactory....
