HOLA friend!!
Rajdeep here.....

What is lymph?

Lymph is the modified tissue fluid that flows through the lymph nodes and lymph vessels.

Now, how is the lymph formed?

There are some delicate spaces within the tissues in our body, where blood directly cannot reach. Hence, the liquid part of the blood along with White Blood Corpuscles (WBCs) and oxygen comes out of the capillaries. This fluid is known as Tissue fluid, which is slightly yellow in colour. The tissue fluid provides nourishment and nutrition to those tissues where blood cannot reach.

Now this tissue fluid does not directly reach the heart by flowing through the Vena Cavas. This tissue fluid, after losing oxygen and other nutrients, are directed to special vessels called as lymph vessels. Hence, the modified tissue fluid that flows through the lymph vessels and lymph nodes is lymph.

Lymphocytes, the cells of WBCs that are responsible for production of antibodies and hence providing immunity to our body, are formed here, inside the lymph nodes.

Hope my answer is satisfactory....
Thanks!!

Lymph is a colourless fluid which helps in the transportation of different materials. It is formed from the blood itself that is when blood flows through the blood cappilaries some amount of plasma, proteins and blood cells filtered out into the intracellular spaces in the tissues. It is also known as tissue fluid and it flows through the lymph vessels. It helps in the transportation of different materials specially the digested fat
