Lymph is similar to blood but RBCs are absent in lymph. Lymph is formed from the fluid which leaks from blood capillaries and goes to the intercellular spaces in the tissues.

Although lymph and blood have nearly similar composition but have differences tooo.It lacks RBC,s but posses WBC,s. It is formed when blood passes through very fine capillaries their by filtering blood.The filtered blood have RBC but no protein.

Lymph performs the function of providing defence and help in transportation of fat..
