lysosomes are small vesicle surrounded by a single membrane and contains powerful enzymes, these enzymes are capable of digesting or breaking down all organic materials

these enzymes are made by return, due to this property lysosomes are called suicidal bag

function-lysosomes protect the body from bacteria and viruses by digesting them.

they destroy old worm out cell organelles

they digest the stored food and even own organelles during starvation

lysosomes help in intracellular digestion

when a cell is distined to die, lysosomal enzymes digest the whole cell

hope this will help uu
