Hello all, joined just right now, today first day with my gx8 (nice camera btw )

Yes you a right,
the lens remain the same, what change is the angle of view only
the good thing is, it stay with the same aperture .. in both case 2.8 wich is great for the light.
so even with a 60mm olympus the 1/1 ratio at the minimal focus distance its short compared to the sigma 105 (i own this too)
now im thinking to buy an adapter with electronic contact for the sigma at leats it will be a 210 f2.8 with 20 cm maybe from the frontal lens
but dont know how the af will perform
