What is macro and micro nutrients?

The nutrients which have a larger requirement by an organism are know as macro nutrients
while the nutrients which have smaller requirement by the organism is know as micro nutrient
for plants nitrogen , phosphorous , potassium are macro nutrients while boron zinc , manganese are micro nutrients
