Hi there
,The Magdeburg hemispheres are a pair of large copper hemispheres, with mating rims. They were used to demonstrate the power of atmospheric pressure. When the rims were sealed with grease and the air was pumped out, the sphere contained a vacuum and could not be pulled apart by teams of horses.
I don’t think they have any real, practical use. They were (and perhaps still are) used to demonstrate the surprising force exerted by the atmosphere on an enclosed vacuum. So you may find them still in use in classrooms - but I’ve been unable to locate any reference to them being used for anything other than that.
Thank You

here is u r answer:----
the Magdeburg hemisphere experiment is a famous experiment.it was performed by 1650 by Otto von gueircke .in the Germany town Magdeburg.otto won gueircke was a phycist his intension was to demonstrate the earth 's enormous atmospheric pressure.he constructed two half spheres that perfectly to filled form a complete sphere.with a radius about 250 mm.with a self design sphere.under these circumstances.the atmospheric pressure on the outside of the sphere firmly kept the two halves together.he then went on to show that 2 teams of eight horses.could not put these two halves apart in a letter attempt 20 horses unable to overcome the atmospheric pressure.
the experiment perform in sunday the 3 rd september 2000...
