magnesium oxide is a metallic oxide , it is obtained by the reaction between oxygen and magnesium! it is found naturally in soil, and many things and places ! since magnesium, is quite reactive it reacts with oxygen in very less time! you might be knowing, magnesium foil is rubbed with sand paper in order to remove the layer of oxide From the top layer !
