hell.. ooo...!!
Magnet... :: a piece of iron or other material which has its component atoms so ordered that the material exhibits properties of magnetism, such as attracting other iron-containing objects or aligning itself in an external magnetic field.
1. Magnetic lines of force start from the North Pole and end at the South Pole.
2. They are continuos through the body of magnet
3. Magnetic lines of force can pass through iron more easily than air.
4. Two magnetic lines of force can not intersect each other.
5. They tend to contract longitudinally.
6. They tend to expand laterally.
hope this helps you....!!

Answer:
We already know that magnets are made up of the magnetic substance. Magnets have certain important properties. They are: Attractive Property – Magnet attracts ferromagnetic materials like iron, cobalt, and nickel. Repulsive Properties – Like magnetic poles repel each other and unlike magnetic poles attract each other.
