Answer:

Explanation:

1. Pain Relief: Increased blood flow in magnetic field delivers more oxygen and natural painkillers called endorphins, which in turn relieves minor pain.

2. Anti-Inflammatory: In presence of magnetic field, the increased blood circulation can reduce inflammation. When inflammation decreases, the body can also heal more quickly.

\huge \bf{Magnetism \: in \: Medicine.}

An electric current always produces a magnetic field. Extremely weak electric currents are produced in human body by the movement of the chareged particles and are called ironic currents. This weak ionic current flowing along the nerve cells produces magnetic field in our body.

Our nerves carry electric impulses to the muscles which produces temporary magnetic field. These fields are weak and one-billionth of the earth's magnetic field. The heart and the brain are the two main organs of human body, where magnetic field produced is significant. This magnetic field inside the body forms the basis of obtaining the images of different body parts and it is done by using a technique called MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging). Analysis of these images helps in medical diagnosis. Thus, magnetism has, important uses in Medicine.
