The ratio of size of image and size of object is called magnification....and mirror formula is 1/f= 1/u+1/v

HEY ANSWER IS.......!!

The mirror formula is given by the expression.
 \frac{1}{v} + \frac{1}{u } = \frac{1}{f}
where, v is image distance
u is object distance
f is focal length of the mirror.
If we know the value of any two quantity, then the third one can be determined using the relation.

Magnification :
The ratio of the size of the image to the size of the object is called linear magnification. It is denoted by m.
For a mirror , m = - ( v / u )

For a lens , m = + ( v / u )

If the image formed is virtual then the magnification has positive value and in case of real images, it is negative.
