The magnitude of net force is acting on an object is the mass of the object and the acceleration of the object. if the net force acting on object is zero then there is no acceleration acting on it and it is called as equilibrium.

here is a definition of the magnitude of force

suppose a body mass m moving with acceleration a
now if we multiply the mass and acceleration we gift a magnitude which is known as the magnitude of force
