what is main difference between algae and fungi -amphibian ,grow in water ,chrophyll,grow in mud

chlorophyll..as algae have chlorophyll whereas fungi don't have any such pigment as chlorophyll and thus fungi depend on other organisms for food so they are considered as heterotropes
