the tamil b speaking people felt alienated because:
1) the Sihala only act was passed which made sinhala as the official language
2) Buddhism was made the national religion because most of the sinhala speaking people were Buddhists
3)Brazil speaking people were denied equal rights which were enjoyed by sinhala speaking people
4) for jobs,designation first preference was given to sinhala speaking people
5) sinhala speaking people were dominating the government and all the policies and laws were made in favor of them.
