Majoritarianism is a term which is used for Rule by the Majority Group. In Sri Lanka, Sinhalese were present in majority and that is why they ruled Sri Lanka and gave all the additional and miscellaneous benefits to people belonging to their group i.e. Sinhalese. This gave the rise to Majoritarianism in Sri Lanka.
