Majoritarianism is a belief that the majority community should be able to rule a country in whichever way it wants,by disregarding the wishes and needs of minorities.

For ex--In Sri Lanka, the majority was the Sinhala Speaker.Here, all the rights were given to majority Sinhala and disregarded minority Tamils. Here, the policy of Majoritarianism was followed.
