A belief that the maority community should be able to rule a country in whichever way it wants,by disgrading the wishes and needs og the minority...
The demerits..
1) it hurts the feeling of minority.
2)they feel exploited by the maorit community.
3)finaaly ,it leads to a conflict and soon turn inta a civil war...

Majority is an age-old philosophy and tradition where the viewpoints of the majority of the people that belongs to a religion, caste, creed, a community has supremacy and gets certain privileges in the society, and they have the right and power to make decisions.
The most important drawback of majoritarianism is that the government does not bother about the minorities and there voice is not heard off making them alienated.
