• Makarsankrati is a famous hindu festival.

• It is known that Makarshankranti is a festival celebrate when sun enter in makar rashi. It is according to hindu dharma !!

• This day is mostly celebrated by the kisans ( farmers ) , who cut their grown fruits of rice and harvest their feilds.

So, this festival brings a lot of happiness and joy in the life of farmer.

• It is mainly celebrated in January.


On this day people used to fly kite,having sweets mostly made-up of gur(jaggery)and tisi.
