what is Mansab and who are Mansabdars ?

The mansabdari system was the administrative system introduced by the Mughal emperor by Akbar the word Maan Saab is the Arabic origin name rank or position the system has determined as the rank of the government position
Mansabdars are the member of the bureaucracy of the Mughal empire in India
They govern the empire and command its armies in the emperor name

Akbar introduced the mansabdari system . the literal meaning of the word Mansab is 'office ' or 'rank of dignity'. in this system every officer or a noble was called a Mansabdar
