There are two types of variables are; one those can be controlled by the manufacturer or marketer and another which is controlled by government.
The manufacturer can control the packing size, the price, the brand, advertising etc., and few such as legislation, taxes, and credit policies are beyond marketer’s control. Marketer choose to optimize the variables he can from among his or her controllable items called marketing tools to achieve the marketing goals and the combinations of such tools is called marketing mix.
Essential elements of Marketing Mix
There are four essential elements of marketing mix and these are
• Product
• Price
• Place
• Promotion
These four together can names as 4ps and should be optimized in best way to get the maximum profit.
