Martin Luther King Jr, was a civil rights activist in the U.S.A., who was assassinated in 1968. In his famous speech he spoke of a dream that he had of a day when descendants of former slave-owners and slaves will come together and the barriers of racial and social discrimination will be brought down. In the speech he further elaborates that the day is not far when people will be judged not by the colour of their skin, but by their ability and nature. He also speaks of the U.S.A. being a country of people of various origins, who must all be accepted as equals for the cause of the nation across the geographical territory of the country and across all classes of people.
