Answer:

Muscular force

The force applied by the muscles of the body is called muscular force. For example, while lifting the school bag, you apply force using the muscles of your arm and you can feel the strain on your arm muscles as you lift the bag. When you let the bag down, your muscles relax. Muscular force are applied all the time to push and pull thing, to squeeze water out of wet clothes, to chew food, to walk or to run.

To exert muscular force on an object, our body has to be directly or indirectly in touch with the object. Thus, muscular force is a contact force.

Animals, birds and insects too apply muscular force to move around in so many different ways. Oxen use muscular force to pull a bullock cart. Similarly, a camel use muscular force to carry people and loads across the desert.

Muscular force is produced by the contraction of muscles in different parts of the body, which also help us breathe, move food through the digestive system, walk, lift our hands etc. Even our heart is driven by muscular force.
