Mass is a state of matter.A body is said to be having mass if it occupies a space.Its SI unit is Kilogram.
E.g mass of an Human is 70 kg (approx)

We use the word mass to talk about how much matter there is in something. The more matter there is, the more something will weigh.
Example :- THE BALL WEIGHS 3 KG ... i.e. the mass of the ball is 3 kg
