we know that any gas at STP is occupies 22.4L of vloume
∴no.of moles(n)=given volume(V)/22/4L......................................1
and also no.of moles(n)=given mass(w)/molecular mass(m).............2
from 1 and 2
V/22.4L=w/m
here,V=5.6L
m=mass of O₂=16+16=32u
w we have to find
5.6/22.4=w/32
1/4=w/32
w=32/4
w=8
∴the mass of 5.6L of O₂ at STP is 8g
