law of conservation of mass states that matter can be changed from one form to another, mixtures can be separated or made, pure substance can be decomposed, but the total amount of mass remains constant.

law of conservation of mass states that in a chemical reaction mass is neither created nor destroyed . it remains the same . the mass of the product is always equal to the mass of the reactant.
